Welcome to CLR@KLU

This site is intended to provide a general platform for the presentation of our results in the field of
linguistically relevant software development,NLP (Natural Language Processing) research and student
projects carried outin the course of CL classes.

Computational Linguistics (CL) at Klagenfurt University has been an integrated part of the curriculum
in Applied Computer Science (Informatics) since 1997. Headed by Associate Prof. Günther Fliedl (IWAS),
it is our aim to implement an online system that supports NLP tasks in all relevant linguistic
application fields.

Some of the results achieved by the research staff and CL students at the University of Klagenfurt
are made available on this website. Since the tools presented online have not yet been integrated
they may be used as stand alone versions. Downloadable software is free for use in research issues.

Any ideas regarding the incorporation of tools in our platform are highly welcome!
